While it is in the pre-start-up phase of raising capital to secure the land purchase it has been a full-time job and mission to the Founder, Lindsay Barteau, to continue putting every necessary cog in place so that when that last dollar comes in to finalize the land, this business will be up and running like a well-oiled machine.

The goal of The Healing Horizons Ranch is to utilize the 600+ acres of land to offer a treatment setting unlike anything before to those struggling with addiction, mental illness, PTSD, and the need for family reunification. We want to provide medical treatment as needed, but then, as a patient stabilizes and progresses through the program, there is more than just therapy; it is a complete life rebuild. A place to learn valuable new job skills, obtain a high school diploma, learn about nutrition, learn to cook, pay bills and budget, gain the self-confidence and self-esteem needed to break the vicious cycles that addiction creates, and teach independence.

So many addicts and individuals struggling with mental health issues develop co-dependency mindsets and become burdens to their families, friends, and society, leading to constant degradation from others not understanding what they are dealing with and here at The Healing Horizons Ranch we want all our patients to know they can beat their addiction and become productive members of society given the right tools, the right skills, patience, and compassion.

In addition to inpatient services, we welcome family therapy sessions and family-rebuilding activities such as gardening, horseback riding, cooking classes, events, and so much more.

Our services are free of charge to veterans.
